Our Location
Sunrise Point Resort is 15 minutes from Mountain Home, Arkansas on  paved roads. Our dock is 200 yards off the main Norfork Lake channel a mile south (by water) from Robinson Point Recreation area. The fishing and boating hotspots Fall Creek and Panther Creek are 5 minutes away by boat. We're 15 minutes from the confluence of the White and North Fork rivers. Within an hour's drive are the very best of all the area's attractions and activities.

Sunrise Point Cottages
Accommodating up to 76 persons per night, our units are mostly separate cottages ranging in size from one to three bedrooms. We also have two duplexes and one three bedroom house. The duplexes have two units each which can be opened into one suite for larger groups. All are full housekeeping units equipped with refrigerators, ranges with ovens, dishes, pots, pans, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, towels and linens, air conditioning, electric heat, TV/VCR, picnic tables, and outdoor BBQ grills. Norfork Lake Area Recreation
Escaping crowds and lines is why Americans from all walks of life vacation in the Ozarks. Recreation is unhurried and relaxing. There's just the right blend of outdoor action, attractions, and comfortable resorts like Sunrise Point. Many of our guests seek stress relief and enjoy just hanging out around the pool in the summer, or in the Sunrise recreation hall in cooler spring and fall months. On any morning friends and family gather over a cup of coffee taking an hour or two deciding what they'll do today. That's the speed vacation people so enjoy here in the Ozarks! Resort Grounds & Amenities
A full patio surrounds our clean 20' x 40' illuminated swimming pool with slide. Right next to the pool in our air conditioned recreation hall you can play billiards, read books, play board games, and socialize. You can reserve the recreation hall for family reunion and group gatherings (ask us for details). There's a playground and a coin-operated laundry. Our store offers grocery items including ice, soda pop, snacks, souvenirs, and brand name packaged foods. We sell hunting and fishing licenses, live bait, and tackle. Horseshoes and a shuffleboard court give adults an excuse to play outdoors.

Meet Your Hosts - the Wintle Family
We're the Wintle family, the new owners of Sunrise Point Resort. After 8 years of operating a successful resort on Lake Vermilion in Minnesota we decided it was time to move back "home" to the Ozarks. We feel very blessed to be at Sunrise point and to live amidst the beauty of the Ozark Mountains.  Our goal is to be a blessing to your family by providing you with squeaky clean cottages and warm friendly hospitality.
